Glenquicken Trout

Glenquicken Farm Trout Fishery a 4.5 acre lochan situated on the lower slopes of Cairnsmore of Fleet above Creetown.
My next door neighbour was fishing there today,so i decided to take a run up and hopefully get some good pictures.

The weather was overcast and a bit drizzly, but i managed to get some pictures.

These gents were no novices when it came to casting their lines out.
Cairnsmore above was shrouded in mist.

Excitement when the bait is taken and the landing skill of the angler is put into play...
...where the result was this beauty.Seven or eight pound maybe?
Anyone interested their own website is at
