A dry summers evening in Galloway ( yes ! we got one )

It's Wednesday the 11th of July here in Galloway
Today was a dry day.
I cut the grass.
A lovely evening so I decided to take a short walk and take some pictures.
Here's a few of them, just as they've come from the camera with no enhancements.
I particularly think the duck's come out good.
They were all taken between 8.45 and 9.45 this evening.
What'd de ye reckon ?

That's all folks................

  1. Enjoyed your selection of photos particularly the one with your shadow on the grass. Lets our English cousins appreciate the long daylight evening hours we enjoy here.

  2. Lovely pics of lovely weather. As I type this comment in my garret the sun is making the screen difficult to see. It's not often we get gloating rights on the weather from over here in the South West - got to make the most of it :)

  5. I reckon jolly good! As for my pick of them...I think...it'll be the daddy-long-legs shadow shot (or daddy-leg-longs as the Smalls would have it).

  7. Can't pick a favourite Jim - all sensational! I love the fact that you've enhanced none. I am beginning to worry about my new camera, I'm finding it particularly complex!
I'm a point and shoot girl only so should really have gone for something simpler. Hope all is well.
