Flashy,wet and rumbling

Last night,Saturday the 7th of May 2011 was one of heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Munchie and the Kid were a bit apprehensive so I looked out of the window with them for a while.
I'm sure they've had scarier moments.



The weather must have caught some folks by surprise,there were lots of sirens going off.

    We had similar storms and rain in Ayr. The farmers prayers were answered they desperately needed for the "tatties"

    I miss the rain... but not the thunder. wonder how long it'll take to find its way down here. Only 2 days with some rainfall since start of April is a massive shortfall.

    Apparently Slew,we'll also be having a bumper crop of Strawberries this year.Where's the ice cream ?

    You've surely had the rain now Laughing Mouse.Last I heard was of thunderstorms in Lincolnshire so it was moving your way.
    As long as it's the weather eh !
