Last Day of Summer

I've called this the 'Last Day of Summer',because it might well have been the last good day we'll get this season.
I saw a lot of activity around this bright shrub near Blairmount Pond in Newton Stewart,and here's a little of what was going on.

I may have uploaded these pictures before,but with the weather as it is now,it reminds me of a warm summers day in the Kingdom of Fife.

The ducks were probably warmer as well.
